When Supplements Work better

When Supplements Work Best is something we often talk about with supplements that I wanted to bring to your attention.


Your supplements actually work better when you eat better.

This is so simple, yet often gets overlooked. Sometimes I have done it myself. If it seems my supplements aren't working very well, but I haven't been eating very healthy either, I tend to think - well these aren't working, so I get inconsistent with taking them. It then becomes true - that the supplements aren't working very well.


When we eat heathy we are lining our body up to be able to absorb the nutrients better from our supplements. 

Taking supplements, taking herbs, eating healthy like eating green salads and steamed vegetables, all these things, what they are doing is giving our body that natural balance back. 

Isn't that what we all want? No matter what medical diagnosis we have or what our lifestyle we have - busy and always on the go - The better we eat the better we fortify our body the better we feel at the end of the day. It is about getting that "feel good" balance back. 

Our focus will be better, our energy will be better so you can take on the day!

When Supplements Work Better: 

We had a question from one of our readers.

He was wondering if we have a recommended best practice about how to take vitamins, because sometimes his vitamins can cause him to have a stomach ache or sometimes it seems like his stomach is so active at night that he has trouble sleeping.

Here is what I do:
- If I am taking more than 2 capsules, I prefer to take them with a meal or a snack to lessen the chances of an upset stomach. Morning supplements are best with breakfast, since, generally, breakfast is a smaller meal and I haven't eaten in awhile.

- Supplements that are for adrenal glands or have vitamin B in them are best taken early in the day - around breakfast or lunch is fine.
