Ouch, Ouch, My Feet Hurt!
Posted by Nurse Mary on 5th Feb 2025
Hi Mary!! I've been meaning to ask you.....
I've been having a lot of severe pain in my feet and leg muscles. I went to the orthopedic doctor last year, and they just suggested getting a custom made insert for my shoes, and I know I won't use them....and really don't see how that could help all that much, anyway.
I'm thinking I need to lose some weight and start exercising... I wonder if there is some kind of magnesium supplement or something? Do you have any suggestions? I can hardly get around these days....really!!! And....I still have a lot to do!! Thanks so much!!! L

Hi L !
So glad you reached out to me.
I suppose you are using the Deep Blue Rub on your feet and legs?
Often times we get shortened tendons in our feet and legs, and it causes a bruise type feeling in our feet. It is a type of plantar fasciitis. You don't need a fancy insert for your shoes with this issue, but you do need shoes with at least a little arch support. Also never walk directly on hard floors - be sure you are wearing a pair of slippers or something soft with some good padding.
We carry a product that is great for the bones and joints. It has Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Vitamin D3 and Enzymes to help you break down the minerals. It is called: Calcium, Magnesium Potassium with Enzymes . You might also consider adding the Turmeric or Copaiba soft gels to your daily routine so you don't have to take pain medications. Foot Cream is a great way to use essential oils as they may have an effect on inflammation.
As far as weight - It can be as easy as skipping a snack or reducing snacks and meals to lower calorie, more wholesome foods. Maybe it's eating 5 small meals a day, instead. Additionally, try to be more mindful when eating.
If you are in the Springfield, MO area and want to come by my office for an iTOVi Scan to see what essential oils may help the most, give me a call and we can set up a time to do that.
