Oh My Aching Head!!

Oh My Aching Head!!

I had a conversation with one of our customers, Debbie, and realized the info from our conversation is something that you might find helpful, as well!

Debbie struggles with migraines - she often has an aura before they start, and her stomach is upset before that. How frustrating!

I have heard so many people say that a bad migraine may turn their whole day upside down. My daughter sometimes struggles with migraines, as well. They seem to follow the monthly cycle, but they also seem to be triggered, for her, by eating foods containing gluten.

If you struggle with migraines, be sure to work on sorting out your trigger foods. Hydration is also a key factor to decrease the severity of a migraine.

If you can head things off during the aura phase with something like Frankincense oil applied to your head, neck or wherever your trigger points are, that can make a big difference.

Recently, I learned from Dr. Hyman that when you go to the ER with extreme migraines, if medications are not successful, they begin a magnesium IV drip. My thoughts are, why not start with that 1st?!

Apparently, magnesium depletion is common in people that are prone to migraines.
Magnesium

Magnesium L-Threonate
There is one type of Magnesium that is particularly helpful in the nervous system, and that is L-Threonate.
  • Magnesium L-Threonate, when supplemented to the nervous system, also promotes improved cognitive function.
It just so happens that we carry an L-Threonate Magnesium called Magtein Magnesium. It is easy to take:
1 capsule during the daytime, preferably in mid- afternoon and take 2 capsules one hour before sleep.
I hope this info was as helpful to you as it was for Debbie. Until next time - Be Well !
