Bacto-K Herbal Tincture
2 Fluid Oz (60ml) Herbal Tincture
Bacto-K is commonly used for signs of infection including bacterial, fungal, viral, parasites & urinary tract infections.
Suggested Use: 20 to 30 drops 1 to 3 times a day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Adding droplets to hot water will reduce the alcohol base.
Herbs included in Bacto-K
Boldo, Juniper berry, Usnea, Uva ursi, Buchu, Dandelion root, Saw palmetto & Bittermelon.
Herbal remedies should be taken under the direction of a trained herbal practitioner.
Caution: lowers blood sugar levels. Do not take if pregnant or nursing. Has blood-thinning effects. Do not take if you have kidney disease. Do not exceed recommended dosages.

Boldo
The herb works by encouraging the release of bile and dissolving fats and also by giving the digestive tract more time to digest food. The ascaridole in boldo attacks intestinal worms.
Juniper Berry
Studies show that juniper berries have powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Usnea
Usnea is known for its anti-bacterial and antifungal properties. Usnea contains lichen acids, particularly usnic acid which is effective against bacteria.
Uva ursi
Uva uris contains an assortment of chemical compounds that are active against many of the pathogens commonly found in urinary tract infections.
Buchu
The leaves of the buchu are an effective diuretic, are antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Studies show buchu is effective in the treatment of bladder and urinary tract infections.
Dandelion Root
Dandelion root is a rich source of beta-carotene and polyphenolic compounds, both of which are known to have strong antioxidant capabilities. It also stimulates digestion and supports the liver.
Saw Palmetto
Saw palmetto has been shown to boost the immune system’s ability to kill bacteria.
Bitter Melon.
Bitter Melon has shown to be effective in preventing or shortening the duration of certain types of infection and historically been used as a treatment of viral infections.
